Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone shoot for YJHD song in Kashmir
All those rumours about Deepika Padukone’s growing fondness for Ranveer Singh can be put to rest. She has taken off for Kashmir to shoot a song with Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani while Ranveer Singh, her Gujarati Romeo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela is shooting all alone in Jodhpur.
Says a source, “Ayan has finished his entire shooting. Apart from a promotional song which he will shoot in April, only this song in Kashmir remained. It’s meant to be a part of a sequence where Deepika and Ranbir and their friends take a pleasure trip into the Himalayas. It is meant to be a fun outing, like those extended picnics in the 1960s’ films directed by Nasir Hussain.”
Ayan wanted to shoot it in the winter snow of Kashmir. Deepika therefore took a week off after the release of Race 2 to head to Kashmir which is where she is right now while Ranveer Singh waits for her to join him in Jodhpur.
Says a source from Jodhpur, “While Deepika finishes her shooting with Ranbir in Kashmir, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is shooting solo scenes with Ranveer in Jodhpur. Deepika will fly straight from Kashmir to Rajasthan.”
